Patricia Flash
Speech Pathologist
Patricia has a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences, a Masters in Speech Language Pathology (MA), and over 22 years of direct experience as a speech language pathologist. She has had the pleasure of working in multiple facilities in various capacities. She has performed diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to pre-school children and school-aged children who experience receptive/expressive and social language disorders, cognitive disorders, articulation and phonological processing disorders, fluency as well as literacy delays.
Before Patricia became a speech-language pathologist, she worked as a social service worker with families in need of emotional and financial support. Her experience as a social services worker has given her the ability to see things from a unique perspective that values the importance of including the whole family in every aspect of diagnosis and treatment.
Patricia is passionate about early intervention for late talkers, equally passionate about providing parents with the education they need to continue supporting their child’s development outside of the clinical setting, and enjoys researching and learning the latest therapy techniques to benefit her clients.
